This weeks training 7/31

We will be back at Hines Park this week. Meet at Nakin Mills parking lot, the bike will begin at 7:30 and run at 8:30. All paces and levels are welcome. Distance of the run will be determine by those who attend. Let me know if you have any questions or are planning on attending. I can bring some waters.

New Data for the STR Pub Run!!!!!!!

Since we picked the most busiest day of the summer for most members we decided to change the pub run to 10/2/10. The new start time will be 2:50 (get it 10 to, it was Nordberg's idea, he is so smart and funny) All other details should be the same. Get your entry in now to be sure you get an official STR Pint glass. Let me now if have any questions.

2nd Annual STR Pub Run

This years STR Pub Run will be held on August 7th in Royal Oak. The pub run will start @ 3:30 at STR head quarters. There will be a choice of a 3 or 5 mile course with rest stops at Mr. B's and Royal Oak Brewery to fill up with your choice of adult sports drink. The race will end with BBQ (with more adult sports drinks) and prizes! The cost which includes an official STR pint glass, is $10 for STR active members and $15 for others. Runners will be responsible for the cost of the drinks at the bars. You must be 21 to participate. Saturday's Training (7/17/10)

Hey STR! This Saturday's training will be back at Kensington Metro Park. The bike ride will begin at 10 am and the run starts at 11 am. Come for the bike and/or the run and stay to enjoy the park. We will meet at the Martindale Beach Parking lot (near the water slides). The later start time is to help accommodate the family and those who like to sleep in a bit on the weekend. All are welcome, bring the family and some friends. I will have Carter with me in the stroller, so feel free to bring the little ones. There is also a great splash pad with water slides and beach at this location. There is a small fee to enter the park and water park.
