Congratulations to Vinnie, Dave, Ralph, Annette and Mac for cruising to a great finish in the Kar's Nuts Marathon Team Relay during the 2007 Detroit Marathon today. Results have yet to be posted but it is safe to say STR dominated. The team finished the 26.2 miles in less than 4 hours (3:56:57 chip time)! Great job STRs!

Spare Tire Racing dominated D-Town and Windsor, finishing the marathon in 3:56:57 and placing 164 out of 568 teams overall, 65 out of 207 in our division. Dave FLEW under the Detroit River with a sizzling 7:10 underwater mile. Great team effort! Thanks to KB and Igee for the support and good luck next week in DC! Dominate the CAPITOL!
What a race. Vinnie was STRong, Dave STRfast, I was STRuggling, annette, she is the boss so she is what ever she wants to be, Mac had some STRength after his 2 hour nap on the bus and was able to put the hammer down and brought us home for a sub-4 hour run. It was a great day. Thanks again to KB and Shawn for comming out. Good luck in D.C.
